OMAHA, NE – September 28, 2011 – Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of industry leading receivable management solutions, today announced that it has certified the Panini I:Deal® and wI:Deal™ check and document scanners with its award winning ETran Receivables Platform.
Certifying the I:Deal and wI:Deal check scanners provides ETran’s current and future customers the opportunity to take advantage of Panini’s market-leading check scanning technology, designed for lower-volume remittance applications.
“Adding the Panini I:Deal and wI:Deal to our list of check scanning tools and certifications provides our customers with more great scanning options in the verticals they serve,” said Doug Fisher, EVP of Software Solutions at FTNI. “In particular, the wI:Deal allows FTNI to introduce the combination of check capture with full page document scanning and ID scanning at an attractive price point. ”
FTNI’s ETran Receivables Platform enables our customers to consolidate, settle and post all payment types in a single PCI compliant platform. In particular, ETran’s check scanning module allows our users to scan and image both remittance and check documents and provide settlement of these transactions to a Financial Institution of their choice. In addition, these transactions can be easily posted automatically into an A/R or CRM system, thereby maximizing operational efficiencies.
Panini, a global payments technology provider, offers a full range of check capture solutions including the Panini I:Deal and wI:Deal, designed specifically to support single feed remote capture and virtual lockbox environments. Both scanners utilize patent pending technologies to deliver capabilities critical for RDC success including high quality dual-sided image capture, document marking, and advanced reading technologies in the areas of MICR and OCR. Additionally, through self-adjusting capabilities, the Panini I:Deal and wI:Deal provide an optimal user experience in the wide variety of environmental conditions encountered in RDC implementations.
“We’re very excited about our partnership with FTNI and their commitment to introducing next generation RDC opportunities and Panini’s market-leading scanners to a variety of vertical markets,” adds Michael Pratt, Chief Marketing Officer, Panini.
